With a BSN from the University of Kansas, CLT certification, and expertise as a Reiki Master, I am dedicated to guiding you through grief, loss, or transitions like “Empty Nesting.”

My Approach & Values

In the embrace of a 23-year marriage, my husband and I sculpted a life together, nurturing three remarkable sons. This union propelled me from the compassionate world of Pediatric nursing into the realm of full-time motherhood, where I assumed the role of both nurturer and the household’s CEO. My joy found expression in crafting a haven for my family, but it was a joy mostly external, yet to explore the depths of my internal heart space.

The script of my life took an unforeseen turn at 44, as the echoes of Christmas were drowned by the somber silence of widowhood. His heart attack not only concluded the reality I had known but hoisted upon me the mantle of sole provider and parent to our three teenage sons. It was an unexpected metamorphosis that demanded resilience and strength I didn’t know I possessed.

In the quiet aftermath of loss, I began to navigate a path of self-discovery and healing, charting the unknown territories of grief and transformation. This journey, now spanning over half a decade, has been a testament to the human spirit’s ability to rise from the depths of sorrow. Along the way, I’ve discovered a newfound love for the person I am becoming, shedding the external joys for an exploration and expression of my internal heart space.

I am now excited to share what I have learned through my own healing journey through grief and loss with you. Certified in Energy Healing and Lymphatic Support, and drawing upon over 30 years of nursing, I offer a compassionate and informed perspective. My journey has equipped me with the tools not just to navigate the challenges of loss but to help others find their path to healing, rediscovering joy and purpose.

I have a good understanding of what she was going to do and why. Her “soft” touch and ambience of her room was peaceful and caused less anxiety – she was re-assuring. Also, my measurements of my arm with lymphedema decreased considerably after just one treatment. And my blood pressure also declined considerably (top number 148 to 135). She gave me simple techniques I can do at home to help as well. GREAT EXPERIENCE!
